I am paying $110 per month for the ability to use the Sales Genie Database. I want to put this account on hold temporarily and pick up where I've left off next year and they've told me that 1. I can't do this, and 2. All of the leads that I have purchased will go away and I'll have to start over again when I come back. I read the agreement and there's nothing in there that says this. This made me angry because I feel that I've paid for these leads I should have access to them, so I said that I want to cancel and they told me that I have to give them a 1 month notice. I can see in the agreement that a 1 month notice is required, but there's nothing there about not being able to temporarily suspend my month to month agreement with them. They've covered their *** if they have to interrupt service, though:

9. Interruption of Service

You acknowledge that, given the technical nature of resources Infogroup requires to provide the Data to you, temporary interruptions may occur in the provision of Data and that any such interruptions shall not result in Infogroup having any liability to you or others and shall not suspend or eliminate your payment obligations to Infogroup or provide you with any refund rights for amounts previously paid to Infogroup.

Sales Genie has no regard whatsoever for their clients. I wouldn't recommend to anyone!

Monetary Loss: $1500.

You should/can export the leads into a an excel sheet so you will always have them!

The contract doesn't say that you CAN suspend it. Do you think a landlord would allow a tenant to sign an annual apartment lease on Jan 1st and then allow the tenant to say in September that they would like to suspend the lease for three months while they go to Florida on Oct 1st and that they plan to continue the last three months of the lease when they return in January?

Is the landlord supposed to keep the apartment off the market and just forget about that rental income for the three months that the tenants are vacationing?

I actually had to laugh at how ludicrous your complaint is. Next time, don't sign an annual contract if you don't plan to use it for the next twelve CONSECUTIVE months.

I thought salesgenie provided you the leads in excel format. That's what I see when I see my manager scrubbing the lists for unnecessary details.

If they do you shouldn't lose your leads if your saving them to your computer.

My manager sent me a list with over 3000 names on it, it was in excel format, I've saved it to my computer and now I can sort the list by age, income, occupation what ever.
